"PowderHound" (PowderHound)

Driving to work today I noticed a car trailer with a few odds and ends and then on the back was… something. I'm not sure and I don't have a picture but bear with me. It looked like maybe a shorter version of an espada, never seen one in person but they look long. The rear window extended back quite far and it was a little more angular than an espada. It also had a front chin spoiler that came down pretty low. Damn, nothing else to give it away is coming to mind. Have an espada to spark your ideas.

Pretty sure it's a Lambo (Espada), Dude.

Nope neither of those. I would have crashed if it was a montreal

Maybe. Either this or the Lotus Elite. The spoiler definitely came down lower and it looked like it was set up to race

I was about to post that same comment... :p but I'm pretty sure the Espada picture above is just for reference...

Did it have 4 wheels? A windshield? Great description bro.
Let's go with a Jarama or a Mangusta.

Maybe. The front spoiler came down a lot lower but it looked like it was set up to race.

That sounds difficult to do without a picture. If it looks like the espada, then it was probably styled by Bertone.
Lamborghini Jarama perhaps?

Maybe the knock-off "S" Jarama?

Thanks dude. I'm an idiot and pay more attention to the road than trying to peek between rows of cars and swerving over to see a car 100 yards off the road

You said it, not me.
The obvious answer would be a Pantera, but I'd hope you'd recognize one of those.

I would. Unless they cut a hole out of the back 1/4 to lighten weight?

If it was an Elite, your description was rubbish - the Elite looks almost nothing like an Espada :)
One is a shooting brake, with fairly upright cabin and a near-vertical rear hatch.
The other is a low-slung wedge coupe with an almost horizontal rear window:

Espada looks correct. Rear window shape and the ducting behind it, plus the squarish rear wheels well all look the same as OPs pic.

There are a few echoed lines, but they look nothing alike when you see them in person. For starters, the Lambo's a foot longer. I think it's also much wider, too - Wiki says otherwise, but I suspect the Lambo width is without mirrors, the Lotus including them; the Lambo's still wider.
But really it's not about the numbers, it's about the general impression. The Lotus looks upright and angular, the Lambo is low-slung and sleek.

It's actually a known fact. When ever I start to describe something, all of my friends basically stop paying attention. I'm terrible at it.

If I were you, I'd try thinking of it as the world being terrible at conforming to your descriptions. You can probably sue someone for that.
